Memories float like clouds,

a swirling dance of what was,
and what could still be.

I know I am in here somewhere,
hidden beneath the mossy thoughts,
tangled with worries and dreams,
wrapped tight like a gift,
waiting for the right time to open,
to breathe and fly,
to break free from the weight of the days.

One day, I will leave it all behind,
the shadows and the noise,
and spend forever elsewhere,
where the air sings clear,
where the sun meets the horizon
with a warm embrace.

But most of all,
I long to reunite,
with the one who gave me life—
that first breath,
that gentle hand,
guiding me through this maze,
teaching me to dance with the wind,
to laugh and to weep,...
