If you ever get a chance, paint your favorite musical instrument or anything that you long to hold in your hands. Whatever you pine for, put on the appropriate music and just paint it. Surrender without regret.
The object of my affection is the blues guitar. I was already spellbound when I started painting this but had to throw down my brush and strum the paint on the strings with my bare hands. Texas blues was echoing in my studio, resonating in my chest, and flowing through my fingers in perfect rhythm. Find the music in the paint.
