Description
When I meet a healer in life,
I can’t help but notice
the gentleness of their hands,
like feathers brushing against the heart,
yet worn,
with stories etched into skin,
veins like rivers,
flowing with the weight of unseen burdens,
bulging under the strain.
Jason stands there,
a silent guardian,
eyes soft but knowing,
as he reaches to lift the heavy loads,
not his to bear,
but he chooses them,
like the sun choosing to rise,
spreading warmth,
with every touch,
every gesture,
a gift of healing.
His hands know the truth of pain,
the quiet battles fought,
the tears brushed away,
and the heavy hearts lightened,
each fingertip crafting medicine,
made of kindness,
each turn of wrist,
a promise whispered,
“I am here.”
These are hands that have seen storms,
that have cradled the broken,
that remain unshaken
amid thunder and fear.
They hold truth in their grip,
softness wrapped in strength,
a gentle reminder
that vulnerability can wear many forms.
When I meet a healer,
like Jason,
I see the grace of giving,
a life painted with compassion,
and I know that strength isn’t just muscle,
but a choice,
to share the load,
to be the light,
to let their hands speak,
a language of love.
